5. Character: Heptahydrate is a colorless, prismatic or needle-shaped crystal. Anhydrous is a white crystalline powder or powder. It's odorless, tastes bitter and salty. It is freely soluble in water and glycerin, slightly soluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is neutral.
6. Usage: In the food industry, it is used as a nutritional fortifier (Magnesium supplement), solidification, flavor agent,  process aid, and brew additive. It is used as a nutritional source to improve fermentation. It could also modify the hardness of water. 
7. Packing: It is packed with a polyethylene bag as an inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as an outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.  
8. Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, and unloaded with care to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
